Team Planet was created to address the need for a dedicated online Jobs Board for Construction and Engineering Professionals. We identified the fact that they needed one place to visit and be able to directly link up with employers and see what is available in the market both locally and globally, without having to use agencies as middle men.

We also needed to provide a platform for employers to connect with candidates directly in order to speed up the recruitment process in this increasingly dynamic and fast-moving environment. This means employers recruit effectively from anywhere in the world as well as on their doorstep, without having to compete with agencies and pay high agency placement fees.

Our Team

Jay Sihota, Managing Director Jay has an impressive track record in recruitment providing innovative solutions to a wide variety of specialist industries across the UK, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. Working with both public and private sector companies, Jay manages the day to day operations of QS Planet and is responsible for strategic business development. Initially trained in Industrial Design, he has spent the last 9 years within specialist recruitment, providing global solutions to address skills shortages within local markets, as well as advice to clients on salary benchmarking and retention issues.

Richard Burke FRICs ACIarb, Director Richard has over 25 years in the construction and engineering industry, specialising in claims and dispute management. He has provided skilled on-site quantity surveyors, planners and project managers to clients on a diverse range of projects. At QS Planet, he has overall responsibility for the management and development of the business worldwide. During his career Richard has acquired extensive experience in high value claims and disputes in the industrial and process sectors. He has also specialised in building dedicated professional teams to represent the commercial interests of major international construction and engineering contractors as well as business owners in the UK, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Asia Pacific region.
